What I do
As the sole designer, I lead UI/UX for their web-based platform, built a brand strategy and created their visual identity.
Flows & personas
I started with persona development and user flows of the platform. Throughout the project we continued to create and discuss flows to help ensure we didn't create any holes in the system.
The Design System
Everything starts with the candidate
Although the core of RampUp’s tools are created for recruiters, candidates are still the heartbeat of the system. The goal was to build a system so beautiful and simple, candidates would use their RampUp profile as a digital-resume, that would serve as both a lead-generation and an incentive to keep their profiles up-to-date.

Keeping the recruiters happy
From day one, RampUp was built to make recruiters' lives easier through automation and machine learning. A few features we created to help in the recruiting process included automated workflow boards, built-in interview scheduling, and quick candidate discovery and ranking.

Since the platform was built from scratch, there are quite a few actions that are unique to RampUp. As a result, I decided to build a custom icon set.
Building a brand
My initial work for RampUp included building its brand identity and strategy. This included creating a logo mark. The brief was to create something simple, easily recognizable, true to the mission and persona-independent. It all started with RampUp’s core mission: Match the right people to the right jobs to help them succeed. By combining the visual representation of a few key values, I created this mark.
